Sorry to say this article doesn't introduce them with more detail, but after reading I hope you understand why it's important not to. This makes me smile.
Remote cultures are fun. There's another group in the Amazon which don't have the concept of numbers and colors. ("One, two, and many" / "Greenish-redish" is as close as it gets.) And remember the tsunami that plagued Asia a few years ago? One of the uncontacted tribes remaining there started throwing spears at rescue workers who didn't know if they had been effected or not.
Enjoy.

Very interesting, I saw the tents on the news but not the people.
"Holy crap, SPEAR THAT HUGE FLYING THING!!" XD That must've been freaky to them.

I haven't read the article yet, but I really hope we don't interact with them or interfere with their culture. Domestication has caused so much damage, in a way, it's like a plague. Don't get me wrong, however, technology and advancement has overall been beneficial to our society, perhaps not mother earth, but to human society.
It's good for tribes out there to remain "untouched" by modern civilization. I kind of wish there were more out there.

Another reaction was the "cargo cult" especially after WWII.

I loved the big wicker airplanes they built to entice the "gods" to return.
May Prove the Ancient Astronaut guys may not be right in thinking that all "people of the sky" are automatically greeted as deities.

Wouldn't it be ironic if the had satellite TV and internet connection hidden in those tents...x3
The way that article reads drives me crazy though, like they understood everything about them from some helicopter footage and they're some endangered stupid animal we must protect.
...wait, shit.

if it's true that they have not had any contact with "us", it's pretty interesting that there still is such cultures and that they have not been found earlier...

^Probably because no one knew they existed and so no one was looking for them.
They seem to be living in a small area of forest so the chances a plane flew over there were pretty remote (keeping in mind it probably isn't on any sort of flightpath).
But still, it is interesting to know there are still people doing just fine without all the essentials of modern living.

There are many things in this world that are uncertain
I'd say I'm one of them
But I'm not sure
