It's an Aussie horse racing thingy. You bet on horsies and stuff. But there are also a few higher class, champagne glugging, fancy pants peoples that go there as well to socialise with other higher class, champagne glugging, fancy pants peoples.
I don't like it...

Hahaha, Warefish, you're description of the cup was spot on. I personally would like to see JOUSTING replace traditional horse racing... and the public flogging of those silly hat wearing champagne drinking women.
