I am not just on here for the trophies, but when you get one, you do get a rewarded feeling. I was wondering about a few of them though; what's 'featured' and how do you get featured, How do you keep tabs of your visitor count, and finally, how do you see if you're in the top 1000, 100, 10 or 5?

In the bottom right of your page there is your comics name, to the right is a small "i" button.



Click that to take you to your comics info page. Then click on the section in the top bar called, Stats.



That page should answer your last two questions.

In regards to "Featured" thats when your comic gets featured for really just being a great comic or offering something great to the community. Most people won't get featured, but if you put alot of effort into your comic(s) or you have alot of talent you just might get there. ;)

It's also worth noting that a lot of the trophies seem to be borked right now and aren't showing up on people's profiles when they've earned them. So don't worry if you qualify for one and you don't seem to be getting it. =P

The 'top" trophies are kinda "broken" right now... They're trying to fix it.

Cool. Are there often faults on this site? Does it crash much? If so, do your comics get lost?

Every website has little bugs and faults. :) Check the "Ideas and Suggestions" and the "Extermination Station" forums for a master list of suggestions and one about bugs (incomplete).

The site doesn't usually crash. We've had a few blips where the server has gone down in the middle of the night, but it's usually back up before lunchtime. Sometimes when Volte is working on something, bits of the site won't work temporarily. That's about it.

The comics don't get lost. :)

Yes, Volte6 is pretty much the boss. He founded the site back in... 2002 or something, building it up from scratch (a couple of times) and hosting it himself. Platinum Studios has now bought Drunk Duck, but Volte6 was hired as the... head of digital design or something. Basically he's in charge of all their web stuff, including DD. Volte's the one who does the coding and makes any final decisions. The other admins mainly handle comic and user issues.

By being awesome. :) Basically by being on the site since forever and always being helpful, having the best interests of the site in mind, etc. About what one would expect. It was a surprise when they made me an admin really, you don't do that kind of stuff with the intention to be an admin.

Our capacity for patience. :)

It's mostly boring stuff. We manage the forums, user and comic accounts (to some degree), and we investigate problems and bugs. We delete comments that are reported, make newsposts and interviews and feature comics, etc, and generally try to find ways to be helpful and improve the site. A lot of it has to do with just being around and available, being responsive, keeping the peace. :)

daniel_the_drummer, if you are so curious about little things, why not ask a couple questions at once instead of one at a time?
