In this thread, we post as many trailers as we can find of games we think look awesome. I'll start with White Knight Story.

Oooh... pretty. Big ol' monsters and whatnot. I like it so far.









THESE are gameplay videos from some convention or expo or somesuch. It looks really great, though I did see a few design flaws. The only big one I saw was that the characters seemed to want to put their weapons away during combat. But hey, the game's not coming out for a while now, they have time to fix that.

Now, just a few thoughts.

1: That girl, Yulie I believe they said her name was, looks like she might be this game's "Cait Sith". The character that everyone stops caring about and takes out of their party as soon as they get someone even remotely better.

2: The gameplay looks similar in some ways to FFXII, though it looked like you have a bit more control over the characters. Or maybe it doesn't, and I'm just crazy. It's really hard to tell when you don't actually get to control it.

3: Am I the only one who thinks it's pretty cool that their mode of transportation (The wagon being pulled by the... whatever that was) was following them around as they fought?

4: I really like the fact that it actually shows the person block when they block and dodge when they dodge. And it looks pretty realistic (As in how a person would actually dodge or block, and how the other person's weapon would react when they did so).

Really, I could easily see this becoming my favorite game on the current gen systems (I think PS3, 360 and Wii have been out long enough to be called that, so that's what I'm going to do). In fact, this game was a big factor when I made my decision to buy the PS3.

Now you guys pick a game and do what I did, or comment on what I said. I'll be back with another game once I see what some other people do.

Well I found the trailer for the new Trauma Center game.
It seems to have some unique gameplay other than just the same ol' shootem ups or the same ol' beat em upers. You get to perform realistic surgery and it seems you get to use actual surgical tools in this game aswell.

I'm guessing you're new to the series. "Realistic" isn't exactly the word most people would choose to describe the gameplay in Trauma Center. If you're looking for a realistic surgery simulation, there are games on the PC which deliver a much closer representation.
