First off. None of them were that good, not gonna lie.

Jay and Mcfadyn and Bff just went and called Denethor a masturbating weirdo. That is so overrated now. Denethor got annoying himself cus he went all ghetto on us and then made fun of the candian hicks from Louder than bombs but the fact that he left out Bff and then said that noone gives a shit about him added humor. Bff was okay with his Mcfadyn bit but the rest wasn't too interesting. Oh yeah Jay and Mcfadyn on Bff was kinda mean but not planned out for too long. All in all my vote will go to...did anyone actually read through this entire comment of mine? I'm leaving this super long thing but not even asking whether or not people will care or even read it. Oh wait, my vote. I think I'm going to give my vote out to the best of the three that did an okay job this time but still not awesome, Denethor. The racism play on was more effective in humor than the jokes on the other two but otherwise I'd have to go with Jay and Mcfadyn who one, are the ones running this and two, only did a little worse. Bff, can't give it to you because of the defaults you won and the typical Denethor joke once again.

The Pen is Mightier sounded like a fun community project, I'm a bit sad to find out that there aren't many fans of it. And that there is apparently a lot of drama swirling around.

Not gonna lie, there was some drama swirling around but it was around just as the finals rolled out. I'm hoping to start fresh next season.

Look, let me try to settle the dust on this since I don't want people to be discouraged from signing up or participating in voting.

1337 master is trying to drum up controversy so people recognize him for the second series (which he was originally participating in but since has been removed from the roster). I don't get this since you vote for the best battle not the battler. Let your art and joke speak for you.

I was really hoping that the comments would be just for the voting and people would have had the courtesy to go to the forum for discussion. I even made two different boards. One for updates on the comic itself and one for fans and battlers to come and chill.

Also, for future reference leet, don't announce anything like TPiM is over unless you work on the comic. It's just plain rude to make announcements that aren't true. Voting ends tomorrow. Like every battle, the voting stays up for one week.

We're still taking on applicants for the second series in case anyone would like to join! This season we have Denethor from Eff Eff Ex coming back as a recurring battler and Exzachly from Last Place Comics! Some good talent in there!

Leet, I agree it's rude to make announcements about projects which aren't yours.... and if Jay's assessment of the drama and reasons is correct (we don't need to discuss it, you'll know if it's true or not), that is also not a cool thing to do. The community projects should be positive and encourage participation.
