Beck - Cellphone's Dead
The Chrystal Method - Name of the Game
Deftones - Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)
Incubus - Pardon Me
Meat Beat Manifesto - Prime Audio Soup and Modest Mouse - Ocean Breathes Salty (Tie)

Gimme Shelter- Rolling Stones
Back in the USSR- Beatles
Fool Cross Over Nirvana- Yasushi Ishii
We Didn't Start the Fire- Billy Joel
Knockin on Heaven's Door- The Seatbelts
The Beatles "I Am the Walrus" would probably be #6.

1.) ashes to ashes- David Bowie
2.) Overture of 1812- Tchaikovsky
3.) Au Revoir- Malice Mizer
4.) Dear Catastrophe Waitress- Belle and Sebastian
5.) Lovely Rita, Meter Maid- The Beatles
(wow that can't be right... are those my favorite songs? Ashes to Ashes is my favorite partially for sentimental reasons. aka a guy. but now's not the time for that story! I also just love it for itself, cause it's so pretty. Au Revoir is like, the song I can never get enough of. One time I listened to it on repeat for eight hours in a row... and then went to sleep... and then listened to it again for a few more hours. While doing other stuff of course, but... it was kinda crazy. O_O! haha lovely rita is a good song... kinda random, but good. And overture of 1812 is probably the only song ever other than the finale from Les Miserables that makes me cry almost every time I hear it. very strange, since it has no words... but it's the frantic ending, argh so perfect. That song has such personality.... and Dear Catastrophe Waitress is another sentimental favorite, but a great, catchy, depressing, hearwarming song too!)

Only five is difficult and I'm certain I'll regret it the moment I post them; but, here goes.
5 in no order.
Mercedes Benz, Janis Joplin
Fat Bottomed Girls, Queen
I Wanna' be Sedated, The Ramones
The Gambler, Kenny Rogers
and Tapestry (Carole King)
See, I'm already wanting to ammend them. My favorite band is Rob Zombie, but I like soooo many types of music, I go into automatic top 5 in each genre...but, I can work with limitations. Sort of. :)
