Ah, he was always a tool. His best scene was that dance number in risky business. Everything after that was just overacting... A Few Good Men still makes me laugh. Cruise and Nickleson compete to see who can ham it up the most, while what's-her-name plays a tree in the background.
His couch jumping was basically just a continuation of the classic perfromance style that made him so famous; as seen in the popular courtroom scene and that "show me the Money" thingo... Except people finally had a chance to see it for what it really was!

Lol- No, no, no...he will be running the movie making aspect of United Artists, along with a partner. United Artists is a film production company. It's been around since 1919.

Watch, UA will turn into a big advertisement for scientology. Once Cruise is done, he'll make sure all of the money goes back to his cult. That's why I don't like going to see any film Cruise is in. You support him, you support creepy UFO cults.

This whole thing kinda makes me feel sad for United Artists. I've always found Cruise to be one of the big stifflers of creativity in Hollywood and now you've got him running a studio? He's too obsessed with his ego and personal views and that doesn't make for a good studio exec.
