Has it been a year already? Well, the coverage from Chiba, Japan's annual mega-event, TGS '07 has begun. So have there any surprises for you yet?

For me I was just excited to gaze upon the new MGS4 trailer .

Just... wow.

Wow, I think Konami packed enough cinematics in this game for a full length movie.

Rex AND Ray

I think it's love at first sight.
Oh look Rex is trying to climb atop Ray now...

Jesus. FROGS, Drebin, a bit more comedy to liven things up, Raiden dead, Rex vs. Ray? Olga's daughter!? EVA IS BIG MAMA!?

Fuck me, if they're giving this much shit away in the trailer, I can only imagine what sort of mind blowing shit Kojima has in store for it's release.

I don't know about you guys, but Little Big Planet has me more excited than anything else.

It's a game where you create your own platformer by dropping objects in the world and psychically moving them using your little avatar dude. The game will come with a story mode/prepackaged levels but you can share your own custom levels online with everyone and link them together to create massive worlds.

The game uses real physics to determine weight and mass and you can create complex platforms out of them. For example, put a plank over a fulcrum and you create a makeshift teeter totter. Attach gears and a belt together, and you have your escalator or elevator. I'm not a big fan of penny arcade, but this comic summed up my feelings perfectly:

I'm pretty much buying a PS3 for that game. I'm a huge MGS fan, but MGS4 is just a bonus compared to LBP.

I'm also excited about Patapon for the PSP. It's like this quirky sidescrolling squad based action game and the art oozes style.

Little Big Planet is the one game I want on PS3 that I can't get elsewhere. If the price on the PS3 were to lower to Xbox360's level, it just might tip me in the its direction.

My brother, MagnumKain, claims that there might be a new Brawl trailer. If that turns out to be true, I'll be one happy sword.
WAKA LAKA!
