I'm pretty sure that this means the world is ending. Seriously I'm going to have to either sue someone or blow them up. It's bad enough inflicting those stupid ass cavemen on me for a minute at a time, but a freakin half hour at a time. I would rather stick a lit cigar in both of my eyes than watch that crap. How horrible has tv gotten that they are turning to commercials for show ideas. I wonder when CNN will give the Geico Gecko his own half hour news/interview show. Man am I glad I have a choice and don't have to watch stupid cavemen shows. It's funny that people complain about commercials, then will line up to watch a half hour long one. It's like complaining about paying taxes and then buying a lottery ticket. But thats another rant.

Yeah, definitely a rip-off. Although I never really thought "Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer" was funny. But then again, I don't think the Geico cavemen are funny either.

The thing that gets me about Erin Esurance is that her name was obviously supposed to be Erin Surance, but the suits on top thought that wouldn't be obvious enough to us retarded pleb consumers drooling in front of the tube.

But if that turns into a cartoon, what's its target audience? Teens+ who think she's hot? Because kids won't know who she is. So it can't be a Nick/Saturday type of cartoon.

I knew about this show idea for a while. I just can't see them being able to do much with that caveman premise for very long. It got old after one commercial of it.

The world may truly end when they do a TV show about Priceline's Negotiator. Or would that be a former starship captain wearing a wig?

I agree. I thought the commercials were pretty neat, but nothing worth dragging out to this much of an extreme. Sitcoms have always had a rocky history, but of all the half assed ideas to come about...


I hear there was a good script for the show that was described as "one of the funniest half hours I've ever read". But the same person who mentioned this (some blog about TV shows, I can't remember the name) said that the script he read was passed up in favor of what we all just saw. :/

Why don't they just give one to the gecko? He's a shitload funnier. That is, if he can decide once and for all whether or not he's British or Australian. He keeps flip-flopping between accents.
