When I was in 11th grade and just started doodling random comics, one of my friends picked one up, read it, and just looked at me and said "Sex, lies, and a loss of innocence."
it was a comic about cooties. And that was his analysis.

What's the wierdest thing anyone has said to you EVER in regards to your comics?

Well, I remember when we were at a convention a few years ago, someone came up to our table, flipped through one of our books and said I had an "interesting style, like if Kurosawa made a viking film".

I'm still not exactly sure what that means, but it makes me giggle to this day.

Well my main character is a crossdresser and I must say the weirdest and most disturbing comment I ever got was a guy commenting about how his other female personality got to come out and people weren't accepting of "her" which I don't have a problem with, but he just seemed unstable in general. o.o;

I get people insisting I'm bisexual/a lesbian a lot. I'm not, I'm just way better at drawing girls. ^_^ I find it hilarious when people try to argue with me about my own thoughts, my husband thinks it's annoying. ;)

"Dude it's like xmen on steroids!"

I later got "You ripped this from DragonBallZ!"

"my god, fandango is like making out in the backseat of a car... you don't wanna stop!"

...I couldn't think of anything to post on this thread, until somebody said that today on the Hyper-Comix forums. That is the weirdest compliment I have ever recieved.
Obviously, I get a lot of people thinking female characters are male. Somebody once thought that since Juliet calls Rocket 'babe' she must be a man with boobs... 0_o'
...My readers are strange.

Oh yeah, and this:

"Hey!Lets do a did-you-know thing!Did you know who was Lizard B1te's first commentor,and fiver was?ME!!!"

I feel so special knowing that someone thinks my comic, with it's two readers, is popular...

Oh I'm sure there are some weird comments I've forgotten about...let's see...

I've had someone claim to be a vampire and said my comic was inaccurate, but still good.

Also, when I first began Vampire Phantasm...someone called it sacreligious. =/

Umm yes, it is a well-known fact that many, many comics involving lots of pretty pastel colours and highly effeminate men, one of whom dresses as a woman, are drawn by men. Well known fact Rei. It's a very *cough* masculine comic indeed.
....Except it's not...at all.

It's probably because your avatar has man-breasts in it. =p People tend to associate the sex of the avatar with the sex of the person behind it.

I wouldn't have minded if he'd just gotten confused but his comment was "Rei's a guy." o.o;

Somebody once said

"You should be ashamed of pushing pro-US and pro-Army propaganda."

When on nearly every page I say how much I hate everything about the army...

I think this is the weirdest comment Ive ever gotten:
"u want know how to bring a monster down..........poke them in the eyes!!!"

The page was a cute one where the main character is talking to the little girl character and telling her she needed a bath. >.>

No monsters anywhere!!

well.. unless you consider the main character monster-like.

I am FS2 champion! w00t!!

I think the weirder thing is so many DD-ers think I'm a dude. I guess my avitar isn't feminine enough. Or my comic isn't "girly". Not that I'm either of those anyway.

So, yeah, I'm a chick, people. yay me.

Could make for an interesting post in the debate thread: "gender and comics"

I think the weirdest thing that has been said in a comment of mine, was:
"mmm skiny little girls...who you calling a pedofile"
...
but it was a guy.

I get a guy that messages me on AIM occasionally that says, "So... when are you drawing more boobs for the comic?" or "when are we gonna see Kris naked?"

I know it's not 'that weird', but it's odd that he does it so often over AIM, heh.

"LOL.
Watch out for Impotent Man, with one touch of his magic stick and not even viagra will lift you up!"

That particular comment did have something to do with the page itself, but it is still a little weird.

Other than that, most people just say that they want to "hug my characters"...
Updates Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday's (depends).

Someone
...Everyone seems exactly the same.

They all look 135 pounds and Japanese.

I thought that was kinda weird... Mostly because that was the time when the most common (usually the only, lol) compliment people could give me was how easy it was to tell all my characters apart -- and I still have no clue where the "Japanese" comment came from.

I once tried to smoke lettuce. It rocked!!

"Your comics just have a groovy feel to them. I feel calm when I read them. Kind of like...valerian root! But without the steenky. :D"

Strange - but nice!
