Wow, thatnks for the nominations, ozoneocean! I'd suggest Hero by Night for action/superhero as well as Crimson Dark. Although Crimson Dark doesn't have a Superhero in it... can there be any doubt that it lacks action (same goes w/ NNFB )?

Umm, I would have thought that Crimson Dark would fit better into the Sci-Fi category than Action/Superhero. It does, after all, have spaceships, energy weapons and cyborgs (who aren't called "cyborgs" so I can pretend to be original) :D

I'd suggest Freshmen for Superhero/Action, but we haven't seen past chapter 1 on DD, which is a shame.

Black Kitty's "Random Thoughts" is a nice "Slice of Life" comic on DD, and I'm nominating "Gunnerkrigg Court" for Fantasy.

Without a doubt. But you can be in multiple categories. No Need for bushido, in particular, is a multiple category type of comic... we'll go 30 pages without a action scene... and then have 20 pages of action in a row. The solution in my mind is to nominate every category that works, so I nominated you for Scifi, Drama, and action.

Although I tend to doubt it'll do any good. Awards are fun, but my preconception and instinct is that they're popularity contests. I remember once seeing that Penny Arcade won for best art and I was astounded: It's competent enough sure, but the style is a dime a dozen (pardon the pun), hardly the standout feature of the much loved web titan that is PA.
