I don't think I'm quite getting what the story is about or something here. It's just a bunch of people trying to kill each other after the apocalypse? That just sounds like another Mad Max knock-off without the campiness.

And of course it's coming out around the same time as 2012. Looks like the Hollywood theme for this year is the apocalypse.

Yeah but unlike with 2012, I think this one looks promising. 2012 looks like a clusterfuck of special effects, with millions of people being killed, but no emotional impact. It looks fucking shallow. But unlike 2012 the Road actually has characters I think I'll care about (after the whole apocalypse thing). To me it kinda looks like Deliverance post apocalyptic style, which to me is a good thing.

I think it looks great.
