Now heres all this talk about people wanting to be in fightsplsion for money or for fame but thats the characters, we dont care about them in this thread OH NO we dont care about them at all. What I really want to know is why did you enter fightspolsion? looking for a fan base? come in search of an artist or writer? Wanna advertise your comic? Why did YOU enter fightsplosion?
I did it personally because im looking for a writer/illustrator for Marty the Hobo and hopefully make a comic about him if i find a person willing.
Fightsplosion!
The reason YOU entered fightsplosion (not your character)

I found out about the first Fightsplosion by reading advertisments on alejkhan's and Sarah N's comics, so I checked it out and fell in love with it! It looked like so much fun! I was too late to sign up for it, and I've been dying to be in a Fightsplosion all throughout it. Plus, I want to challenge myself as well. I have a hard time sticking to artistic committments sometimes so Fightsplosion is a perfect way to make myself keep committments (don't worry, I swear I'll have my pages in on time!) and also, I haven't had a lot of practice with fight sceens so where better than to practice than here? :D So basically, fun, challenge, and practice. ^^
Screw the rules, I have money!

I did it because it looked fun. I'm not in this to win, just to make some people laugh.
Why hello there.

I got into Fighsplion to flex my creative head muscles (it's not as painful as it sounds.) I wanted a chance to draw a lot of different things and see how fast I really am. Plus it looked like tons of fun. I'm hoping everyone stays involved, because a big part of the enjoyment of this is interacting with everyone at the same time. I was a big time "reader but no comment" person on the last Fightslion and I figured I'd try my hand. The forum comments made me laugh more then the comics sometimes. I've never been involved artistically with so many people before, it's a cool new experience.

My reason is to practice drawing. Plus I want to build up a reputation.
FIGHTSPLOSION 5!!! IT HAS 2 ALIENS, A PIRATE, A HORNY NINJA AND A HOMOCIDAL FIRE PRODUCING PENGUIN! AND A BIRD WOMAN AND A CAT WOMAN!
Also a mute that reminds me of Johnny Bravo and Samuel L Jackson at the same time!

I've entered for a variety of reaons, but it's mainly to challenge myself by drawing characters i'm not accustomed to drawing and working on my self confidance.
One of the first guest strips i had done was practically booed off the screen, so I was shaky about even continuing my own comic for a while. Then I thought to myself how stupid I sounded and if people really didn't like what I drew, that there were nicer ways of saying it.
That, and I like the idea of collaborating on a comic to be a lot of fun.
