The Programs You Work With

I used to do traditional pen and ink strips but I simply don't have the time now. I "draw" the weekly strip in basic Paintshop. With some practice, the mouse can be just as handy as a pen. I have to use an old one with the trac ball. The optical ones are too abrupt. I use Paintshop Pro to resize or reformat but the basic Paintshop is so much easier to work with. My wife gives me crap about the way I do the strip now. She prefers the traditional look. I have started to post a few really old strips done in the "traditional" way. That way, at least, everyone will know I can draw.

I use my #2 pencil, my micron inking pens, borrow someone's scanner (mine broke a month back, and I haven't had the money to replace it yet), and then I use photoshop cs to do colors and balloons.
Sometimes I'll draw in backgrounds or little details that I forgot the first time around, but it's rare. I don't have a tablet, so I have to use a mouse and there's less control.

I use PhotoShop for scanning and coloring, and sometimes for re-drawing things with vectors. ;-)

I use flash 8 entirely because my comic was originally split into 4 flash movies, so to keep the style I draw and put it together in flash.

I used Manga Studio 3.0 Debut for my pages, Painter 8 for my title pages, and Photoshop CS3 for minor editing =3

I almost never touch paper and pencil anymore.
I use Wacom Cintiq with Carrara5 for postioning and rendering complicated elements... space ships, machinary etc...
then photoshop CS for everything else.
