If there is one thing I want to see this movie change... it would be that I want to see the Zutara ship.

Man, I was soooo disappointed when the creators purposely toyed with that ship, just so they can sink it and laugh at all of us drowning in the icy sea.

(BTW, in the cartoons, the Fire Nation actually have the lightest-skinned people in the Avatar world...)

I guess. I'm still a bit confused why they didn't make a full-length animated feature. If they did it for Spongebob, why not Avatar?

Probably because Avatar had such a definate ending to the story. Unless you want a movie called "Aangs crazy antics: What to do when you've saved the world and you have nothing to do now." I wouldn't count on a full-lenght feature.

Although, technically, the last 3 episodes were aired together so that could be consideder a feature lenght episode.

That casting sucks. Why would they even think of choosing Jesse Macartney as Zuko? I watch and love the show and I am destined to hate this.

Also, why is M.Night directing this?

Don't worry Splash. Jesse McCartney has been dumped in favor of Dave Patel. But I myself am worried about having Shyamalan directing these films. He better not implement his trademark plot twists into the story.

I think making a movie out of this wonderful cartoon is a bad idea at the beginning. See what they did to Dragon Ball. Now that?
Are producers too bored and uninspirated so they make movies out of cartoons/books/comics? 'Been a while since I didn't see a movie that wasn't inspired by those.
Thanks not all adaptations are shitty.
Watchmen was good.
But gee', I hope that movie will be more like Watchman and less like Dragon Ball Evolution.

I noticed that in the comments section somebody was complaining that they hadn't cast Azula yet... aside from that one line at the very end, and the cameo in the midseason flashback, was she even in the first season?

She only made a last minute appearance in the last episode of season 1 when the Emperor was giving her the order to go after Zuko. Whooping 10 seconds, if that. If the first movie is going to be loyal to season 1 then I don't think that she should appear in it.

I want megan fox to be azula, which would be a terrible casting choice because megan fox has very monotone acting while azula is insane and awesome, but i just want to see her hotness mixed with azula's hotness

Rewatch the flashback episode about how the Zuko got his scar. You can see Azula standing next to Iroh during the Agni Kai scene. She has a big evil smile on her face.
