I was getting a great boost to my favourites for Harkovast and Kombat Kubs by buying up that ad space.
Alas, the good times are gone and now its some crappy google ad space thingie instead.
Shucks! I was enjoying being able to get noticed on the duck.
going away - Advertising Discussion
The good times are over! The PW ad on DD is gone.

And what bad timing too; I was literally just about to steal it from you before it disappeared.

so now we get geek 2 geek dating ads, great!
Kind of insulting that they assume people reading and making webcomics need dating agencies to get laid.

Genejoke I had the same reaction!
We don't just need a dating agency, we need one specially for dorks, cause we are all just that sad.
How dare they imply we are all geeks and nerds?
My coke bottle-bottom glasses fell off in outrage and I took out several pens from my pocket protector to throw at my computer in anger.
At the next star trek convention I will be sure to raise this issue!

I admit I did go to a star trek convention once, it was a small one and Kate Mulgrew was there, no one exciting. It was actually a load of rubbish, not that I expected much else but I was morbidly curious.
Not that I am actually a trekkie or trekker, whatever. Now if someone did a firefly convention or something...

I love the massive number of qualifiers you used for that explanation.
"It was only a small convention, and a celebrity was there , and I only went once and I didn't enjoy it!"
Face it Genejoke, you are a Trekkie!
You are about as cool as Ensign Harry Kim!
Damn it...I just outed myself as a star trek dork too, didn't I?

Wesley was annoying, but at least he was memmorable (as annoying, but still!)
Harry Kim was just dull as dish water.
His character was so paper thin if you threw a bucket of water on him he would disintegrate. You could replace him with a cardboard cut out and no one would notice!
Mind you, bad as voyager was, at least it was bad in a funny way, unliek the snooze fest that was Enterprise! The most interesting part of that show was that the theme tune was wierdly uber patriotic/racist.
