I went and saw this last night and was not to impressed at all...I mean all in all it was an okay movie but there was just so much wrong with it...I don't want to spoil the ending but nothing was resolved and the giant robot was not in it enough and reaked no giant robot mayhem...The best part of the movie was the WOLVERINE Trailer in which we discover that a young storm is in and the best part of all GAMBIT is in the movie!!!

I wouldn't bother to see it. The original is a masterpiece and I can imagine how many ways they've destroyed it without having to sit through another of these damn remakes.

Oh yes - because they suck.

way I see it, that giant robot changed into a swarm of metallic insects and bleached half the US, blew up a couple of planes by smashing them into tanks and did all that frewaky EMP stuff. the movie was great, keanu reeve's acting can be excused because it fit the role, John Cleese was in it and the whole thing was actually very good. it's much more a different film than the original, like the remake of War of the Worlds. if you see it out of context of the original, you'll see a damn good film.

also, wolverine aint gonna be all that great, especially since they're gonna ruin gambit like they did ghost rider.

I didn't like war of the worlds to much, the wolverine movie could suck...but judging by the preview it could be good...much like your previous comment you have to take the Marvel movies out of context from the comics...if you compare them to the comics they all suck...especially the Spiderman ones, you have to see them as separate entities....except for Daredevil that movie just sucked. All I know is the Wolverine movie has Gambit and Deadpool and has extreme potential to be good.

The ending was easy to understand but the problem wasn't fixed...because she wanted him to save her son over her that convinces him that the humans won't kill Earth?? I mean he reached 2 possible 3 people that is going to change the whole human race?

And GORT should've reeked havok in robot form and just stomped the fuck out of everything instead of turning into bugs.

No need to see it. The original is an absolute classic that cannot be improved upon. Nuff said. Gort for president!!! He'd be sooooo easy to control!!!
