Wow, that was awesome. I love the shadows & colors. It had a "Poe" kind of feel to it. Thanks for sharing it! :)

When I saw the title, I thought it was that stupid video of a cat playing a piano. Turned out to be a really nice animation. I liked it.
Those were my two cents.

I thought the same thing. Pleasantly surprised, too. If only animation was as fluid and well done as that nowadays.

Couldn't agree more. I've been listening over the poem again and again, picking up all the words that I didn't know before.
I particularly liked this passage:
"The city had reclaimed its vestal muse.
It would live again.
Beat again.
Cats would sing in the street again.
And I in anonymity as I had been long before this soliloquy,
Could sit and listen from afar."
Beautiful.
Those were my two cents.

According to the YouTube posting of that video :
I've actually never heard of Nick Cave, but he did a good job. Really brought the poem to life.
And apparently it was all Flash animation (some guy on YouTube is saying that--can anyone confirm?). I never would have guessed.
Hey Product, is your YouTube account Choken1? The guy posted the same comment/poem excerpt you just mentioned. Thought it was ironic. ;) (mine is BlipoutProductions, btw)
At least it didn't look like this....
The Cat Piano features the voice of iconic Australian artist Nick Cave narrating a poem written by Eddie White. Nick Cave recorded the narration whilst in Melbourne in 2007 while on tour with his band, The Grinderman.

Choken1 was my Counterstrike call sign from back in the days. I continued using it until I switched to my current name.
It's a small world ain't it?
Oh and the video I was referring to was this one.
Those were my two cents.

That was great. The animation was wondeful, I loved the style.
