I loved the first one and the second one was damn good too. I very much want to see the Bourne story more.

No way. Bond is a man of style, as well as ability. Bourne is just stunts and effects... Plus, he's played by the monkey faced Matt Damon.
I personally preferred the original theatrical adaption with Bourne played by Richard Chamberlain. Without the stupid stunts it just looked so much more real, the story was nice and solid too.
...Although while Damon looks like the missing link between man and beast, Chamberlain looks like someone who got carried away with plastic surgery! :)

bond is just corny compared to bourne.
bourne has more story and makes me care for the characters. bond just has a lot of throwaway chracters, even bond himself.
bond is more superficial than bourne. bourne actually gets hurt and thinks for the moment. he doesn't need some gimmicks to get him out of situations.
cases in point when he wanted to blow up the house he looks at his surrounding and broke a gas pipe, put a magazine on a toaster as a timer then BOOOOOOM!
bond would die in a sec without his utilities. This does not include the new bond, since they copied the style of BOURNE of bieng more realistic

Which ic exactly what I hated about that movie. Bond SHOULD be 'cheeky' humor. That's what makes it great! This is not to be confused with 'campy' or 'corny' however (which Roger Moore had- in spades!).
Matt Damon will never hold a candle to Connery. ;)
And lets not forget that it's the Bourne francise that derived from Bond!

The new bond movie had the same tone as the books. The old bond movies were their own animal.
If it makes you feel better don't think of the current bond as part of the old bond franchise. Think of him as a completely new adaptation of the books, totally unrelated in any way to any of the other movies.
Oh and go read the original Ian Flemming books, they're friggen awesome

Looks sweet, the Bourne series rocks. Basically, it should breakdown like this:
Bourne is a kickass, living ghost that make snap decisions, fight, and disappear from the eyes of the government.
Bond is.....well, a pimp with cool cars and hot women.
......
........
Damn, this sounded easier before I typed it out.

Yup, he's a pimp ^^
Nah, Bond is way better. Not when he's got the stupid gadgets though, or does those silly stunts: in the early Bonds when it's mostly about skill, charm and guile. Bond is best as a player and an operator.
Flemming eh? How many have read the Ludlam's Bourne books?

Huh?
I was talking about the movie. I know I used the word "story" but I meant it as in "Bourne's storyline". Sorry for the confusion.
And why are people talking about Connery as Bond? Everyone knows Roger Moore was the best Bond. *sheesh*
