The second season of The Boondocks has started. I was almost worried that the series was gonna just die off because it took so long before they even announced anything about it after the first season ended. Much to my suprise, they announced a date and revealed that MADHOUSE was now animating the series. So, I watched it on Adult Swim's Friday Night Fix, and let me tell you, IMO it was nothing short of awesome! The humor was sharp as ever and the plot was just as ridiculous. Pretty damn funny. Anyone else got anything to say about it?

It looks interesting. I'll have to catch up on it when I get the chance (since Boondocks is one of my favorite shows).

I live in Canada, so I'll probably have to wait a while longer for the second season installment, but I'm definitely looking forward to it. The first season of The Boondocks was a nonstop rampage of ridiculous humor that I quite enjoyed and based on what I've heard so far, the second season shouldn't be an exception. The Boondocks takes human ignorance to a whole new level, a level so high its funny. It's got some great action scenes for a half-hour show and the animation's crisp. That's what I love about it. So yeah, bring it on, 'cause I'm ready. 8D

I don't know what MADHOUSE is, but Boondocks is awesome! Ever since the ho episode showed as a rerun, I got obsessed and started watching every episode. I hope it draws enough viewers this season to get made into a season 3!!!

I hope it draws enough viewers to get a season 20 like The Simpsons or South Park. The show is absolutely great. Its anime inspired like the comic strip but it elaborates and goes off in ways the strip never could. I love the show. I only got to see a few minutes of the new episode and I laughed at what I saw. Looks like the same quality from the first season is here again.

Season 2 gets my approval. Finally an anime that I can fully support.

Season 2 is being animated by Madhoue? I had no idea! I admit I only got into the show at the beginning of this season, but I'm hooked now!

The word "boondock" came from the Tagalog word: "Bundok" (trans: mountain).

chaa, i thought the show was gonna fall off in quality during season 2, but to my surprise it was kicking even more ass than the first.

I've never gotten into the boondocks but I appreciate the art and effort put into each episodes. Good for original animation plus they have an excellent animation team behind them

Season 2 is way better than what Season 1 could ever be.

The animation, the humor, the overall look is just great.

They actually got a real Anime studio to do the art.

All the fights this season so far were great, except for the one with Ruckus and Huey because it was so short.

I hope they can keep it up, I'd like to see a Season 3.

The Return of Stinkmeaner was one of their best episodes in my opinion.

I can't until Season 2 comes out on DvD.
