the boondocks first started in the newspaper for chicago. BUT! Now they made a show of it! Its straight up cool. Has anyone seen it? I saw like atleast 8 episodes...pretty graphic talking show.
I personally think that its better than South Park...

I'm totally not part of the show's intended demographic. I think it's novel that they've made a "black people anime", and you gotta respect that they're doing something new, but I didn't enjoy the show.

I thought it was funny. Not my demographic, but it had its inspired points, and it was a lot more intelligent than most of the stuff on Adult Swim nowadays. (I mean, Perfect Hair Forever? I appreciate them trying to parody anime, but... it isn't even close to... anything good. Or funny. At all.)
My favorite was the R. Kelly episode. Adam West plays a good weaselly lawyer. And man, can he dance!

Definite truth right there. Adult Swim is on this "looks-like-crap = good" kick. I only watch it for Futurama.

I personally like the Boondocks animation. They do a good job of telling a story and staying "afrocan-american" in theme.
It's not as political as the comic though, which makes it easier to understand for more people, but it losses a lot of its bite.
Over all, I give it two thumbs up, and I hope to see more of them produced. :D
