Yes, we all know that Q1 and Q2 are a drag for video games... But there have been a few gems out in the first 7 months.

What do you think are some of the best games released in 2007... so far?

Q1 and Q2? But this year so far, definitely Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, hands down.

Twilight Princess and Okami were awesooooooooommmmeeeeee

Although Zelda was like, december or something wasn't it. I dunno if Okami counts 'cos it didn't come out here until Februrary but I think was out sooner in the US. But both games were awesome!

Also I have played the hell out of Picross on DS. T_T

Guitar hero II...but that will change come the release of halo3 :)

Stalker - Fallout/Oblivionsesqe first person shooter. Uses a rather interesting physics and ballistics system for combat. Nothing beats tagging headshots with an Ak-74 from two hundred yards. Its a great game.

Guitar Hero's sequels are all the same as Frequency and that other game that was like that. Its all the same basic Parappa The Rapper/Dance Dance Revolution style gameplay. Even their upcoming Rockband is just a combination of Beatmania, Guitar Hero, and that Karoke game they made. Its all the same old same old same old.

Now that GTA IV's been pushed back, I feel like Cartman in Go God Go.

Odin Sphere. That might change with SSBB or Metroid 3 though.

Q1 and Q2 are usually bad, but it's even worse when you have new consoles. Everyone's still cranking out their first-game-on-the-console turds or last-gen ports. That's why I've mostly been playing DS games like Pokemon Diamond and dirt cheap Gamecube games from the past.

But soon, Metroid Prime 3!
