Can I design an award statue as a graphic to give to winners of awards? It could be some sort of gold statue, possibly of a drunk duck. I'd leave some space on it to print the exact award they got... that way each award graphic is unique and possibly something people would want to post somewhere.

Sounds like an awesome idea! Naturally, we'd have to see the design first and have it run by the rest of the committee, but it sounds really neat. :D

I'll whip something up in the next couple of days.

A fake trophy? How about something a little more useful, like, front page status for a long time, or a hall of fame section where theyll be there forever. If I were to win any award, I wouldnt want it to be a PICTURE of an award. thats just my opinion.

A free advertisment would be a good prize...Then again, I guess winning would be a good advertisment for your comic in itself, so maybe not. Hmm, Maybe something like a guest strip by a really awesome artist? Whatever the prize is, most people would probably want to win for the prestige of winning, so it's difficult to think of a prize that's truly worthwhile.

I think we should receive an award such as a medal that we can post on our comic. Or if possible, have a diagonal stripe across the top left/right hand side of the webpage that the comic is on. Idunno.

What I think we should do is put up a section in DD and then put all the winners there. Plus they should of course appear in the news. Fame, in my opinion, is one of the best prizes you can have. (tho my opinion sometimes sucks.)
