To simplify things I'm just making a new thread :P

August is the busiest time for the Awards! We need several several volunteers.

We need volunteers to be judges/panelists. Their duty will be to judge and decide which of the finalists should be declared the winner! There should be 3 judges for each category. And volunteer back up judges!

We need 1 presenter for each category as well! This is where you make a page to announce the winner of the award for that category! This is always fun and is a really good way to advertise your own work as well by stealing the show with a great presentation page!

Each page should end with a cliffhanger and I will add the name of the winner later on as I find out who it is! These will be due by the end of August for those that volunteer. And I will be riding you like crazy if you take too long XD

And last but not least as a finalist you can also make an acceptance comic if you like. It's a bit of a gamble if you win or not but if you do it looks really cool to have an acceptance speech ready! And if you don't win you can always show it as a bonus update on your site ^_^

Be sure to PQ me your presentation page or your acceptance speech page when you are finished!

I'll put my name in as back-up judge. I've already signed up at the forum. I can do three categories, I think. Whichever panels need filled out at the end.

Could I do the presentation for Best Antagonist? Antagonists are awesome.

I'm willing to be a judge for anything, no real preference. (except most offensive or best adult comic, I don't read those type as a general rule) (also except Best all ages, obviously because I would be biased) :D

I would like to present Best Pixel/Sprite/Stock Image Comic, pleeeeeeease?

I'd love to judge best manga or best black and white art (since most of the comics I've read growing up fall under that category).

I would also like to present either best mystery/noir comic or best action comic please!

I suppose I'm up for anything. Would be unfair of me to state which category I'd want to judge since I may have personal reasons to vote for them (like, if I knew the guys making the comics, etc).

Also, has it been decided who draws the award ceremony? Cause I would like to present the best stick figure/simplified art.

I'd like to present for Most Deliciously Offensive. I'm nominated for that one too but I'm pretty sure it's not a conflict of interest to present, right?

Also, I definitely want to judge Best Antagonist. Villains are my favorite characters! In order of preference, my top five categories to judge would be:

1. Best Antagonist
2. Best Protagonist
3. Best Horror
4. Best Community Project
5. Best Lettering (what the hell)

I can be a back up for presenter if you don't have enough, or someone falls through.
(Again, no most offensive and no best adult)

Also updated the 1st post to include that you should sign in to the judging forum (it makes it easier for me to find you) and to tell everyone to be sure to PQ me with your finished presentation or acceptance speech pages! Can't be too careful!

EDIT: Oh and keep in mind that the next 2 days are still work days for me. I work 12 hour shifts (normally) so I might be late responding on these days but will have 4 days to catch up! Kinda swamped now heh you may have noticed I didn't get the awards out for finalists too. I'll probably wait till Tuesday when I have a full day to dedicate.

I can volunteer to judge and present, any category is fine for presenter but I'd rather judge one of the more strip-central categories, best strip, best humor, any of the categories where the nominees are mostly strips.

I'd like to present one of the listed categories, too, preferably Best B/W Art or Best Background Art but any other would be equally fine, except for Manga. Nothing against Mangas in general but they aren't really my area of expertise.

I'd like anthro, slice of life, and...what was the other one I wanted?
