A pal of mine in XBL thinks that vaule will give the pc verson all the maps before touching the Xbox verson...I need to email that bloke from vaule who loves playing as a spy...

I think Valve is currently among the best game developers, but if they have a fault it's that they're notoriously late with their releases. There's also a fair amount of evidence that they favor PC over consoles. I'd imagine you're right and consoles will get the additional maps later.

The orange box is the best thing i've bought for my PC in terms of content. I mean for the people who already had episodes one and Half life 2 they get portal and TF 2 and episode 2. But for us who had none, its like the pandoras box, it unleashes a overwhelming amount of content and satisfaction!

Okay people. got a reply from "Kerry Davis" (kerry@valvesoftware.com) about the TF2 maps for the xbox verson. heres what i got.

Hey, i'm sure you are able to awnser my question that has been in the mind of players who dont have the PC verson of Team Fortress 2. hey its a brilliant game but...When you have other games like call of duty 4 and halo 3. The TF2 players of the xbox 360 are starting to leave for other things. i seen less and less people playing it. which is a shame because Team fortress 2 is great fun when you want to make friends (or just litterary "flame" them as a pryo)

So my question is this. you might had been asked this by thousands of players. and yeah im sorry if your sick to death about the same question. but when are the new maps coming to the Xbox verson? If the maps dont come out soon the TF2 community (for the xbox) will be nothing but history.

Sorry for the delayed reply, I was on vacation. I wish I knew when the map pack would be released, but its still too early to say. We'll release Goldrush on the PC first so it has some time to uncover any bugs/exploits. On the 360 wed want to release all new maps as a single pack. Sorry I cant be more specific on the date.

From my understanding, they did that on purpose. Partly to differentiate it from all the gritty, realistic FPS's out there, but probably also just because it's a good look.

If you watch the video lectures about the design process of TF2, the narrator says that TF2's art style was modeled after Incredibles. So yeah, you're completely right.
