Yes, please...I'd like some more! Giddy with glee! Tee hee hee! This is a holiday date movie that is SURE to please! I as a chick get a musical and my date as a dude gets credit for taking me to a musical...We both win...Plus, I couldn't wish for a better "dream" cast. I'm psyched!

I really want to see this. XD At least it's ORIGINAL. (Besides being based off a play/musical I mean.) I'm not big on this whole "cram a bunch of everyday modern songs together and call it a musical" thing that has been so popular nowadays.

I love Sweeney Todd, although I've always thought the music was one of its weaker parts. I love the tone and plot.

I believe I've read somewhere that Danny Elfman isn't going to do the soundtrack this time.. (to bad, he's definatly my favorite composer).
I'm really really REALLY want to see this movie. I mean, I can tell that I really really want to see this movie because the trailer isn't all that great and I'm still looking forward to it! (never seen the on stage musical tough).

Really?? THAT'S shocking.
I know, Burton and Elfman go hand in hand! The dude that is adapting the music is a virtual unknown...I like Stephen Sondheim's musicals though...if you haven't seen this live...it's a fun one and it seems that they are planning to follow Hugh Wheeler's version of the tale.
On another note: Alan Rickman has never been in anything I haven't enjoyed.

It's nice to see Depp as something besides a filthy stupid pirate. This doesn't seem a far stretch from that role, though.
