But then you can do that after eating anything. Genetic traits don't tend to get passed on from eating them. They break down in your stomach.
Would be interesting though.

well there's less fat on them and more muscle than the average cow, so it probably more healthier

Quite possibly. They'd yield a hell of a lot more flesh too. I imagine they wouldn't taste too good though... Creatures with a lot of hormones and things tend to be pretty gamey, I can't imagine that increased muscle growth doesn't also include the production of a lot more hormones etc...
