Looks like they're mostly just paroding the first Spider-Man movie. I saw a clip with a female Prof. X. and Invisible Girl(I'm suprised they could call her that in the movie without getting sued), but not really any other superhero flicks seem to be used as fodder for it.

Well... looks a bit better than the other "_______ Movie" titles lately... but not by much.
They really should just let this concept die...

Weird. A few years back, I would have laughed my head off at that trailer. Now, the only part I thought was any funny was the scene with the nail gun.
I fear I have become jaded by the internet.

I agree with Inkmonkey... It looks marginally better than Meet the Spartans, Epic Movie, Scary Movie #, and the others. But still not enough for me to bother seeing.
I think my favorite superhero spoofing was done by The Tick.

Good point. If people stop watching these, they'll stop making them.

I wouldn't mind them if they just went strait-to-video with this kinda movie. I saw the "un-cut" version of Epic Movie on DVD(mainly because one of the people in that version was working on a comic I was doing), but it seemed like they could get away with some of the more offensive kind of material in it, or at least the kind some people might find offensive.

Ya the parodies are starting to get old. Although like some said, this does look a little better than the ones already out, but I think they might have used all their ammo on the trailer.

In the real one she's called Invisible Woman, not to mention parodies have the right to use copyrighted names.

I have slightly higher hopes for this one, seeing as it is being done by completely different people. From what I hear, the idiots responsible for Date Movie, Epic Movie, and Meet the Spartans have not touched this one. I even heard it was supposed to have a different title and ad campaign, but the creators caved to guys funding the movie.

I don't. Sure, it may not have the writers or directors from those films, but the writer/director is one of the idiots responsible for Scary Movie 3 and 4 and that certainly doesn't fill me with confidence in this movie's potential to be good.

Meet the Spartans was top at the box office at one point? Aughh..aww...why..? How America? How could you do this to cinema? I know 300 and Rambo IV weren't good but how...?
