Since the release of the game in Japan, Spoilers have been apreading over the net like wildfire. So, even our thread about it got "burned". Now, this thread is for non-spoiler conversation about the game.

in today's update, it's strange that sakurai just blurted out master hand's in. he did'nt even subtly hint. :O. i'm annoyed that there were two stage updates in a row. there not even all that exciting. they look cool though. oh yeah, first post!!!

can we talk about secrets that the dojo tells us?

but i can talk about non spoiler updates right? because so far, this weeks updates are not secret. the 2 stages are starter stages because sakurai says nothing about unlocking it, same with today's assist trophy updates. i think all secrets will just show you the ??? icon unless you click it.also, what's Kuru Kuru Kururin?

Also, who besides me is more excited by the online component than anything else?

I actually may not even touch the online side of it, except to maybe let hpkomic kill me a few times with Ness. I just haven't ever really been a fan of online gaming (the exception being Team Fortress 2 for some reason).

Yeah, I was happy to hear that they devalued moves you use too much. While it means I won't be able to exploit my favorite move much, I do remember my brother being a big jerk with Samus and only ever using one move.

I agree.

This new mechanic will prove to be very good. Especially if you play against someone real crazy over Wi-Fi. Those crazy moves some people were able to pull of in Melee won't be too useful in Brawl. This will make things interesting.

i don't get yoshi's up special. if he throws it to recover, does it stay in the air and blows up after some time or when yoshi touches or is it something else?

It's funny because Yoshi's Up Special isn't even a recover, which always puzzled me.

His recover is really that weird 'air-run' he does when you hold the jump button.

The Egg Bomb (Up Special) blows up instantaneously, it may not even hit your opponent but it is useful when doing Target Tests.

i guess pictures are a good way to celebrate the US brawl release... at least they're funny looking. there are a few pics with stage/ trophy spoilers but sakurai warns you in the discription on top.
