This has always been a favorite of mine and always will be. It is my favorite game ever for the SNES. Let's talk about it on this thread. What's your favorite character to use? What part do you like the best? How many times have you beaten it?

It's tough to pick a favorite part of that game. Between the mine cart, and Yoshi's Island, and the forest level (I'd still buy a Geno game, no questions asked, even today), and the wedding chase, and the Cloud Kingdom... There's a heck of a lot about that game I love.
Just about 7 hours to go until the work day is done and I can go home and fire up the SNES, because, dammit, you got me wanting to play it again.

I don't know how many times I'm beaten the game but my favorite part is the Forrest Maze. Mostly because of the Geno's Maze song.

I don't buy a lot of games from the Wii Virtual Console, but that's the one game I bought, first day it came out, no questions asked.

He sure was! I loved that Geno Whirl attack he had. You could do 9999 damage to any minor enemy if timed right. But my favorite team is:
Mario with the Hero Shirt, the Safety Badge, and the Lazy Shell
Toadstool with the Frying Pan, the Lazy Shell, and Rare Scarf
Bowser with the Drill Claw, the Heal Shell, and the Jinx Belt.

It definitely taught me (and re-educated me again this weekend) to despise limited inventories. There just aren't enough spaces for all the ice bombs and Yoshi cookies I want to carry...

Hmm...I never use Ice Bombs or Yoshi Cookies. I always building my team up so well that I don't need anything like that. I mainly carry Mushrooms, Syrups, and Pick Me Ups or any item I may be carrying on the side like Fireworks or Rock Candy. I also like to carry my Flower Tabs instead of use them so I have them when I am low on flowers and don't have a syrup.

Omg! This is the game that got me in to games xD. I was sooo excited when my dad surprised me with it on my birthday back when i was a kid hehe. Anyway, I think my favorite character to play as in the game was Geno. He had the best moves and he was just plain cool. I liked to use that beam thing he did that costed a mess load of MP, and I liked to drop the giant star on the bad guys heads xD. My favorite part of the game is in Mole Hill. Where after you defeat the bandits in the mines there, you get to race around in a cart after xD! So fun. I beat the game many times, not sure how many but a lot.

I actually used to play it at a friend's house until she moved. I never actually got to beat it but then a few years later in a used game store I saw it accompanied by it's strategy guide! $36 for both! It was a great deal because it is one of the greatest games in history! Now I've beaten it several times. I still have it and the strategy guide even though I have it and the game memorized. I use a rom of the game on my computer to get the backgrounds I need for my comics.
