It's pretty simple, really. Jay Leno does this all the time. If you ask 500 people questions, you're pretty much guaranteed that at least 20 of them are going to say something stupid. Those are the ones you put on TV, and the rest end up on the cutting room floor. It's funny, but very disingenuous of the show to imply that it is representative of the American public. You could get the same result no matter what country you tried it in.

I wont lie... we do have way too many f***ing idiots in this country (I could answer these questions and all these people are older than me), but what Fenn said is true, they probably interviewed twice, maybe three times as many people as they showed. Everyone else did good enough...those ones... not so much.

Now, I'm not gonna sit here and say that we have the worlds smartest people in this country (because that's... pretty wrong), but I'm not saying that every bloody American is dumb.

I don't really trust much anything I see where they ask people q's to say people look dumb cuz most likely it's edited to prove their point.
