It's getting annoying. I've run into at least two of these people. I've also seen videos of them on YouTube. You'd think that the new Championship mode would cull their numbers, but they're still pulling out their network cords thinking they'll keep their ranking in the current tournament...

Yeah, that would be pretty irritating. I mostly hate online play, so it's the kind of thing I probably won't have to deal with much.

It's actually gotten better now. I guess they've realized that pulling the plug won't help you with your ranking at all since I started fighting only in championship mode. They're still common in ranked matches, but you can kick them if you don't like how high their disconnection rate is (it's shown on the screen before your match with them begins).

(edit) you all probably know this, but pulling during a match in Championship mode will knock your rank down. :)

That'll teach those n00bs who like to pussy out when they're getting a red-ass beatdown. Sure, it may suck for people who have shitty connections but that's a price I'm willing to pay.

This is actually the reason why I only ever play single player and co-op parts of games. I really can't stand it when I'm winning and 'oh hey, I can't take losing, so I'm going to disconnect!'

I can't even go on multiplayer in almost any game without a disconnector in it.
