This was a game we played back in my highschool english class, where everyone would contribute a 4 line stanza, using the second and fourth line of the previous stanza as their first and third line. It went on all year, a few people every day, and sometimes it was a bit tedious, but at the end of the year the, truely epic, poem was a sight to see. I'll do the first two so you see what I mean ^_^

Morton the Everstrange, was
without guile or grace,
happily content to wander
wherever there was hope.

Without guile or grace
and percieving all ties,
wherever there was hope
there was also life.

And percieving all ties
On the tie rack at Target,
There was also life
For Mort's job interview.

On the tie rack at Target,
there were a vast selection
For Mort's job interview.
His life was on high.

There were a vast selection
of ways for him to fail.
His life was on high.
The tragic urban male.

Of ways for him to fail
passed vividly through his mind.
The tragic urban male
not one-of-a-kind.

Passed vividly through his mind,
his ways to suceed.
Not one-of-a-kind,
were still a mystery.

His ways to suceed,
whilst known to you and I,
were still a mystery
that Tie-Rack never guessed.

(Dang! We're cookin' with gas now.)

Whilst known to you and I,
Sense in fashion Mort did not.
That Tie-Rack never guessed
He'd pick out a cravat.

Sense in fashion, Mort did not
even pretend to try.
He'd pick out a cravat
and wear it like a hat.

Even pretend to try
to hide his baldspot
and wear it like a hat,
He looked like rambo.

To hide his baldspot;
Little did he know,
he looked like rambo
in green galoshes

Little did he know
Store cameras were on
in green galoshes
All could see him
