Yeah, certain liberties have to happen when taking a comic to a movie. I'm generally pretty happy with the changes Spiderman underwent.

Just for an extra couple of dollars, get Andy Dick to be Carnage. He's the only one annoying enough to play Venom's little redheaded stepchild.
