I trying to comment on your speed drawing... All I can say is damn! Did yoy do this with a mouse? If so you are the man! Nice work even though that eyegave you some problems. I thought that stuff only happened to intermediate artist like me. Thanks for noticing my comment numbers. I figured they were off the charts for the time I started really posting. hope you get this.

Those are all quite the awesome. I haven't actually experimented much with blending colours digitally. Now I've gotta go try that. :)

I've been doing a few 15 min. speed painting exercises everyday, just trying to get the hang of it. Done in photoshop with a tablet, timer set for fifteen minutes.

Dr. Lazarus-

Landscape-

Wallpaper-

Yeah. The last one has lineart, I know. But I love it so, and I still got it done in fifteen minutes. ;)

woohoo I did some speed painting!!! this took me 20 minutes. Well, it really took 25 minutes, but in the middle of it (sheesh just my luck, right?) I spilled a can of Sprite on my computer... sigh...
anyway the first one is just the unadorned picture I did in Painter, and the second one I changed the colors around a bit in photoshop.

they both look kinda blurry, huh... what's with that?

thanks~!!! what's half-life? That picture actually... I had a dream where a giant golden rooster head on twig legs was wading through an endless cerulean ocean... and I thought, hey why not draw it!

but omg I did another one!!! (speed painting= fun fun fun!!) but I don't know if it counts as painting because I doodled it in photoshop. (actually I was signing my name/Paul McCartney's name all over the place, and the G in Gudsnuk looked like an eye so I just drew a person.) it's rather risque, but not really. I just didn't feel like giving her a shirt. *pervy laughter* this one took 15 minutes, although I kept writing names for a really long time...

Hah, that's awesome! I also like the 'Kristin McCartney' written in a heart, that made me smile.

So, Sub, you recognize that as a strider yes? You..uh..you play deathmatch at all?

Here's one of my daily speed painting exercises, this one was done in under forty five seconds. Super sketchy, but I really like the composition. ;)

yup, it looks like those striders in halflife.
i never finished the game actually...i even uninstall it from my system. it's not a bad game, but I hate "steam". i just wanna play the game that I bought and steam keeps trying to update. I'm never buying any game that has steam in it.

45 sec? that's crazy fast

Acadia is now my new best friend, he just showed me a simple, yet wonderful trick to get my lineart all snazzified! :D Yay!

Here's one, this one took about 7 minutes or so.

And this one took about 25.

Thanks again Acadia, this is freaking AWESOME! :D

oh... well for the past four pages or so I've been inking on paper and then scanning, because in photoshop the lines look ugly... so I guess photoshop and pens? (and the pens I use are: a calligraphy pen and a fine-tipped arty pen.)

trees in 25 min
i went to a park and observed the trees cause i forgot how to draw them. this shows a speedpainting method that starts from a black and white painting to color. it's pretty handy if you wanna do it fast

Done after I first woke up. 15 minutes.

More awake now! 18 minutes.
