Anyone remember that show? I miss it a whole lot. Nothing on Adult Swim makes me laugh as hard as Space Ghost did. Space Ghost is the best superhero ever.

All I remember is there was some people sitting in a news room reporting about real (not cartoon) people? If thats the right show.
Please, please, you give me too little credit.

Oh man, I adore Space Ghost. When I was younger, I couldn't stand it, but once I aged a bit, I couldn't get enough of it. The interviews are always so fantastic. One of my favorites was with Willie Nelson.

I'm not sure if they're EVER going to release the remaining episodes on DVD. I barely saw the last couple of minutes of the "final" episode which they only showed like ONCE!

BekefelThey were cartoon people interviewing real people, but not always. And there was always some pointless, stupid nonsense storyline, with just the dumbest things happening GOD I loved that show. It makes me wanna run out and buy all the DVDs. . .

I missed a lot of good stuff before I finally got cable. But I finally downloaded several episodes of Space Ghost and found that I really enjoyed it. I really need to see more.

I used to watch that show all the time. Then it came back, and Adult Swim ruined it. When SGC2C made it's return on Adult Swim... it wasn't funny anymore. The laughter died.
*ahem* Sorry about that.
jalfordThey tried to release the entire collection, but a lot of celebreties who were portrayed on the show refused to let them put those episodes on. Your best shot would be to... download... IN A COMPLETELY LEGAL MANNER!

That show was great. I had a pet preying mantis at the time, so I was especially amused. I liked when the guests really got into it too. Best talk show around before Colbert.
(Cartoon Planet, on the other hand, sucked. More than once I would see Space Ghost or Zorak on TV and get excited only to then discover that it was Cartoon Planet and not Space Ghost Coast to Coast...)

Space Ghost is pretty funny. Sometimes is goes into that stoner type humor adult swim is known for though. I like Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law the most.

Space Ghost RULES. At the time it got released it was original, they had cool guests, idiotic humor and Zorak is freakin' awesome! Also I totally dig that song Space Ho's by DangerDoom (which is about the Space Ghost-show).

hehehe every time I see someone posting as "Warren" I immediately think of a fern. That episode was probably my fav of all SGC2C. I really loved that show, I never understood how they managed to produce those bizarre interviews. I used to stay up at night only to tape them :D
Harvey Birdman was good too

Hard to say if he was officially killed off in the Aqua Teen move or not.

I loved that show. Although, did anyone notice the creators started to, I dunno, hate the show as time went on? I remember one episode where it was space ghost staring at the screen for about 4 minutes, then an intermission for about 5 minutes. Or how bout the episode where space ghost slowly follows an ant for the majority of the show?

One thing I always found awkward about that show was the way in which the interviews seems disjointed and awkward. You know, as if the responses were not exactly to the question that was being asked. I realize that was probably the joke, but I always found it more distracting than anything else.
Of course, everyone knows that Gary Owens, the original voice of Space Ghost, was not a part of this show. And that's cool, because the guy who did Space Ghost's voice for Coast To Coast was pretty funny. However, some years later, when I discovered that Gary Owens was also the voice of Powered Toast Man and Roger Ramjet (and he was quite the adlibber, I must say), I was a little sad that he wasn't a part of Coast To Coast. Gary would have been AWESOME.

The show was hit and miss. It was very limited by its format. They did have a lot of really interesting people who they interviewed though, like Laurie Anderson etc. Not the usual stuff.
Heh, When I was little I watched the original Space Ghost, Sea-lab, and Bird-Man. And all the rest... They used to show the repeats here on Saturday mornings ^-^

the episode with Macho Man as Space Ghost's grandpa was frickin hilarious. He just yammered on and on about the 'ol days' and basically aggravating everybody, especially the guests.

BTW, they're bringing back the show this summer for a couple of weeks, at least according to the Adult Swim schedule. Maybe they'll even bring back The Brak Show...
