Wow. Surprising number of lefties.

I don't really draw well with either hand , but I'm right-handed.

Right handed, though at the moment i can't use my wrist or fingers on that hand very well because of tendonitis.

I draw with my left hand, and write with it. I only use my right hand on the computer to edit with photoshop. Generally, I think a trackball mouse is also easier to work with when I use my right hand.

I've tried to use my right hand to draw, but for some reason it just goes arthritic and makes these wierd angles...because I guess I'm just SO used to using my left hand to draw and write.

This is creepy, but the only other friend I have who is a lefty...also draws comics.

I write and draw with my right hand. My left hand is pretty good at writing in mirror image to my right hand though. I don't think I've ever tried to draw with it. Maybe I'll give it a shot sometime.

I'm right-handed and stubbornly defy the creative-matematically devided brain theory. The way people use it in arguments/discussions can be translated as "you cannot be creative if you're right-handed!" most of the time, and you know what? That's not true. I don't care where the creative center is located, as long as I can use it. And according to everybody I know, I can. Everything is good. My right brain and right hand are very good friends thankyou.

Sorry, just a thing that makes me a bit annoyed. I'm not a fan of that theory at all. I know, I know, I shouldn't care. Please don't hate me, I don't mean to be attacking.

And yes, I can type and such with my left hand. But precision work is reserved for my right hand.

But if you want a silly fact I can come with one:
During the conceptual art stage of The Nightmare Before Christmas, the artists started to draw with the other hand to get a rougher, more scribbily feel to the art*. So there, you can train yourself, but you'll never be as good as with your main hand.

*That's how I remember it at least, but if somebody feels like watching the extras and correcting me then feel free. ;)
Because I may as well show a bit of pride. ^___^

I am right handed, draw primarilly with my right. When I was taking art classes in college my teacher made us draw left handed, turns out I am good left handed, the only problem is that everytime I draw left handed the picture is ussually at least twice the size of what I can draw it right handed. Funny thing. 8D

Right. My left hand is basically an organic paperweight, I'm completely useless with it.

So, judging the amount of lefties in this thread, this proves people who are left handed are more likely to draw webcomics?

I use my right hand for pretty much everything. My left hand just helps me hold stuff.

Hmm...no, my right is definitely the drawing hand, all I use my left for is spinning the canvas, paper, dry-erase board. :D

Well, all my drawing is done with right hand, I suck with my left. I'm not that used to using my left hand, mostly becuase I refuse to try many things with that hand besides just for extra help and support.
I use my left hand to press the photoshop shortcuts on the keyboard while holding my tablet pen with my right hand.

I work entirely with my right hand. I never have been able to do anything precise with my left, always comes out really shaky

I primarily draw with my right hand. But I can draw with my left hand, too. It takes a little longer for me to finish a drawing with the left and the end result is a little sketchier.

I once could draw with both, but now I'm stuck with the left.

I do everything with my right hand. I can't even hold a pencil right with my left hand, never mind its tragic inability to draw/write anything. o_o;;

I'm a rightie. Drawing, colouring, anything requiring precision goes with my right.

But I can type with both hands. That's gotta count for something, right? ...right?

Right-handed when it comes to drawing/writing, somewhat ambidextrous with eating utensils. I DID do this exercise in school once, and managed to hash out a pretty passable drawing with my left hand, but on an average day, it's a success if I can write with my left hand.

Interesting thing, though: I write better with my left hand if I am also writing upside down at the same time. o.O I wonder why that is....
