I don't own either of those systems, so I wouldn't be able to buy it. I don't have a lot of Genesis nostalgia outside of the Sonic games, so I probably wouldn't buy it anyway. Looks like all the best Genesis stuff though.
Ah, Sonic before he got bad. Nice, fat, old Sonic. :D

You know, I might just check that out. It might be fun playing Streets of Rage 2 with my sister again. XD Though there are a couple of other good Genesis games they could've put on there, like Flashback and Out of this World, instead of Ecco 1 and 2. -.-; No Sega CD collection?!

A lot of those games got remakes on the PS2, but I doubt we'll ever see them over here. In particular, it's a shame we'll never get the remakes of Phantasy Star 1 and 2. I'll be passing on this one. It's just more laziness from Sega.

I took the SNES route in that period of videogame history, so there's virtually no nostalgia here for me. But I'm sure there are some great games in there.

I also grew up as an SNES kid. In fact, I still have my SNES hooked up. I only got into the Sega Genesis from playing at my friends' houses and eventually getting one when they cost around 30$(when they were a few generations old. So while there is just a bit of nostalgia for me, I also wanted to see what I missed out on when I was a kid. :]

Keep them coming, Sega. I don't know if I should wait for Shadow's Ultimate Genesis Collection in 6 months.

I played Columns for two days straight.

Oh there are other games on it? Shame they suck.
Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.

Are you serious? Columns is the most worthless game on there.

My only hope is that they release more SEGA games in this way because this disc, although good, is missing some gems like Gunstar Heroes or Mickey Mouse. (The co-op Mickey Mouse/Donald Duck game is fantastic so shut up.)
Please, please, you give me too little credit.

Gunstar Heroes wasn't a Sega game. They published it originally, but the game was developed by Treasure and they hold the license for the game and the franchise. I could see any Disney-based game having some licensing issues, as well.

True, but I have an unfortunate addiction to puzzle games and pretty colours.

Capcom did some pretty dang fun Disney-based stuff back in the day. But yeah, as isukun said, they're not "Sega" games... even the exclusive Quackshot.

I loved that game, I think it was called World of Illusion or something.

Went to the store a few days ago, determined to find some way to get Resistance 2 the fuck out of my house, without destroying it. Ended up swapping it for this.

Since my parents insisted I go outside when I was around five years old, the only SEGA console games I remember playing were the sonic series, and barely at that. So these are all new to me. I'm liking the way so few of them play themselves while barfing story.
