I posted the above ad on craigslist this evening. It's an "in character" ad, complete with a new comic strip and a link to my regular strip. I have no idea what the response will be (if there's any response at all), but it seemed like a cool idea.
What do you guys think? Win? Fail?

The end result was... inconclusive. I didn't get any responses to the ad (I wasn't expecting any), but I did have about a half dozen people tell me that they thought it was funny. I'm not sure if they saw they ad on Craigslist and followed it here or were already readers and just clicked on the link to the ad I posted on my comic and in my twitter feed.
