Good posters!
This belongs in the games section though dude...
I wish we had one of those "migrated" temporary links to show topics had been moved, because how will you know?
-SO I won't move it just yet, I'll do it later, or maybe someone else will.

Yeah, Warhammer... I had some Eldar a while ago. A nice little army, as well as a 40k scale Phontom Titan, HUGE!

I played for a long time, but grew cold toward the entire company after becoming sick of the way they acted towards me because of my gender, the final staw being when I went to ask after a job at the local GW in my University town and being treated to 'You DO know you have to have PLAYED the games to work here?' Ugh! What a twat! Turned out I'd been playing longer and played more of their games than he had, of course.
I still enjoy the computer variant, 'Dawn of War' and have my Eldar army and my old 'Polar Marines' Space Marines and some high elves...oh and some Mordheim, my awesome Necromunda gang I made from converted Armageddon guardsmen, the Inquisitor model that won me a painting competition, some 'Lord of the Rings' figures...man, I have a lot of Warhammer. I really would like to start playing again, but trying to find an opponent who'll take you seriously is a pain in the arse when you're female.

Those are some pretty cool posters. From an artistic and atmospheric point of view, I think the Warhammer 40k universe is one of the coolest sci-fi settings around. I love the idea of a dark, gothic sci-fi in which even the 'good guys' aren't all that nice.

Havent played the game, but man, Mongoose!

I know that feeling. there's been some online games I played where they treated me differently because of my Gender. That only seems to happen in games where you can actually kill other players, pvp style though... I wonder why?

it seems that the games that allows for player-killing seems to draw in a lot of assholes more than decent players that doesn't even care about your gender and is just there to play.

that doesn't seem to happen so often in roleplaying online games where they disable the pvp or make it so that you have to ask the other player for an "duel" via an system and the other player being able to decline your duel if they don't want to fight.

you know what I mean? still get some assholes though, but not as bad. they're just like: "Uh, an girl gamer?? wow, aren't you supposed to be like, nonexistent or an endangered species? O_O"
I'm on hitatus while I redo one of my webcomics. Be sure to check it out when I'n done! :)
