...post their comics in advance and then refresh until they're live or am I just that much of a loser?

I also celebrate by well-deserved (in my opinion) spinning in my swivel chair.

New comics are always worthy of celebration.

Lol I don't do that...but i do sift back through my earlier pages to read comments people posted. (I wish DD had an easier way to see them D: )

Yes new comics are always to be celebrated. ^^ Awesome satisfaction can be had from advancing your story, improving your art bit by bit, and making readers happy.

Thread topic should be 'do you do anything funny because of your comic?'

Well, I celebrated breaking the top 100 strips a while back by having a couple cookies. ( ok, a whole box. ) But other than that I usually just sit there and start daydreaming for a while.

I don't refresh the page until I see them. I just upload it and forget about it.

On certain days I keep the stats open in a separate tab and reload them every five or ten minutes :)

I actually do the first thing. Once I post them in advance, I refresh the page until it goes live. Once it does, I give it a read though and check if anything is wrong in the Author's Notes box... if so, I edit the Notes a bit.

I like to do it too!
When I break a record (pageviews, number of comments or something), I usually get myself a bottle of soda.
When Mireille Bouquet jumps into a lake, she doesn't get wet. The water gets Mireille Bouquet!

In Soviet Russia, Freakenburg and Telenime will be relaunched by YOU!!!

I have my pages set on auto-update. I don't refresh over and over, but I load my page right after the update time to check both the page and comments for mistakes/typos. -- Unless I have to go to bed early. Then I just check when I wake up.

Yeah, I reread mine too. I need to as I have a dreadful memory so it's easy to omit some important plot point (although that sometimes leads to brainstorming how to get around the problem and coming up with a pretend-it-was-all-planned-for-a-twist solution :) )
