Gosh this subject gets debated so much.

"is this an Art form or just a craft?"

"thats just a sport"

For me, believe it or not Art, is freestyle rollerblading (aggressive skating to the older generation) Every night I go drive downtown, park, strap on my skates and just look for objects to slid down (or up), jump, climb or spin on, ect... I like pushing my body to its limits and forming each stunt into alittle dance or work of art in itself. Its like saying to some un seen force "I know your there and I'm defying you by doing this"

Most people from what I've heard have only seen this applied to ramps and such on TV... more or less its changed almost compleatly in the last 6 or 7 years from a competitive activity to a more creative and individualized style inspired Art.

Thats more or less the opinion of most of these next-gen freestyle rollerbladers.

So I guess the point of this post is to see what other people consider "Art, which is not nessiarly labled so.

To me, art is Jet Set Radio [en.wikipedia.org].

I don't really know if that was supposed to be a joke or not.
It's a comic!

I don't believe in art. Postmodernism has nullified what once was art.
For me, there's pretty things and ugly things.

Art is basically any type of creative product made by humans. Of course you personally have to divide it up into groups based on what you think is good or not.

I think art is feeling. You just take whatever you want, and mold it into what you call 'art'. It's based on the emotion or the lesson of the picture/sculpture that shows an inside meaning. Artists may not have as much skill as others, but that doesn't mean they're not artists as well. It's damn soul, people!

This year, school's full of BS!!!
