So how many times a week do you do it?
POST YOUR COMIC THAT IS!
Do you feel it's better to do maybe 1 a day everyday, or maybe 7 panels once a week.
Right now I post 6 times a week multi panels on many days, but it's really getting tough to make my own deadline.
What works best for you?

Once a week, a slow pace that I despise!

Currently, twice a week, no later than 2pm EST. Rarely, three a week. I used to do three a week more commonly a few months ago, but it could often be a rush to get done when I started using color and some paneling instead of just b/w. I still choose which days I'll update as needed, however. My only rule is not one day after another if I'm only doing two.

"You tell yourself to just
enjoy the process," he added. "That whether you succeed or fail, win or
lose, it will be fine. You pretend to be Zen. You adopt detachment, and
ironic humor, while secretly praying for a miracle."

Once every week on Tuesday. I often find myself in a rush but that is usually because

1. My family and friends drag me out of the house or away from coloring. I get the feeling they are worried about me and such.
2. I have a hellish work schedule a times and I do design on the side.
3. I forget what day of the week it is.
Usually I always get it up on Tuesday, I did however miss that one week when I was in the hospital cause I couldn't sit up to draw. The latest I have ever gotten it up is on Wednesday morning.

In a perfect world, I would be updating Faust once a week every Monday. However, during the summer I'm working full time, and at the moment I'm working on designing a newsletter for somebody as well. Sooo...for a while now I've typically been getting a page up every other week. When I'm lucky, I update two weeks in a row.

On Used Books, I do two days a week, and Gelotology I do once a week.

For Gelotology, I draw my strip on Saturday or Sunday and pre-upload to go live Monday -- unless I run late and have to get it up mid-morning on Monday. (My days off work are Monday and Tuesday, so that works for me.)

For Used Books, I maintain a 2 to 4 week buffer of pages pre-upload. I am always working on pages, a little bit a day. When I started I updated every day, seven pages a week (I had a bunch of pages already drawn before I joined). I started doing more editing and reduced to weekdays only. Then I switched to color and added a second comic project, so I reduced to two.

Depends on what's going on at my end. If my life is nice and stable, I try for most days if not every day. Right now though things are NOT rosy, so I may not update at all... :(

The aim
To update Malefic days a week.
update Malefic tales mondays. wednesdays and fridays, cubicle gets the same schedule.
Spleen the barbarian weekly.

The reality
Malefic is just building up to go daily again after a hiatus while I got a collaborator.
Malefic tales and cubicle have been regular so far.

Malefic tales will ease up for me soon as I have stories done by other artists so that will help keep on top of things.

Cubicle is finite project so when that finished, things ease up considerably.

As for spleen the barbarian... I update it every so often, I have plans for it but it really plays second fiddle to everything else.

The How,
whenever I can. I scribble out layouts for several pages and will gradually fill them out until I am happy to do finishes. I scan them in and in the evenings when my wife is at work I colour them and so on.
New comic alert. [..]

Negligence: updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I often work on comics months in advance, so I have a buffer lasting until January 2011. Not only that, but the quality of the pages you see live today is not the same quality I draw currently. To say that this comic is my life is an understatement.

Cubicle: See Genejoke's post, as we both work on this comic.

I update once a week (Fridays) because I am always busy and each page takes so long to make.

I usually draw them up Thursday night. On the rare occation I will start a new one up on Monday or Tuesday and work on it a little bit each night. These tend to be the better ones (art-wise), but many times that is not an option.

I recently forced myself to start posting comics on a schedule, and not all at once after I draw them because I crave the sweet intoxication of page view boosts...

Trolling Around: Currently active, 2 pages a week. Monday and Friday.

Lurei: When I actually have pages drawn, which is difficult, because I'm drawing it with a friend and he lives about 3 hours away...I like to post once every 3 days until I run out of pages.

Dying to Live: It's not active anymore, but I used to try to post just about every day, and then would go inactive for several months at a time, rinse and repeat.

Every day. Late at night.
Read this comic. It is the greatest journal comic ever written and drawn. Trust me.

I find three times a week is my limit. If I push myself for more I'd get sick of doing my comic and it show in my work and my life

PPFFFFTTT, it takes me a week just to DO a page! I'd like to update every week, maybe more, but then I'd have to have control of the cosmos in order to do that!

So I just update whenever I can, hopefully not too late in comparison to when I last updated.

I update all my active comics twice a week, on different days (mostly).

Last Of The Wilds updates on Mondays and Thursdays
Quest For Zanvadas updates on Tuesdays and Saturdays
and A Child Led Astray updates on Thursdays and Saturdays

Occasionally the number of updates for a comic of mine has dropped to just one a week, but only if I'm having a hard time keeping up with it :)

I currently have three active comics. They each update one page per week.

I would like to have Air Raid Robertson update a bit more frequently, but I'm not going to commit to that until I finish my current storyline.

I usually average out a little over once a week. I work on my comic almost every day, occasionally taking a day off after I've finished a page and usually putting in at least an hour on the days I do work on it.

When each page takes 6-10 hours, well...twice a week just isn't possible without a pretty drastic drop in quality that I honestly think could lose me quite a few readers as well as lower my own personal opinion about my comic.

I'm also constantly trying to improve the art (it's gotten a bit more realistic since page 1), so finding reference material and doing studies when necessary takes up a fair bit of time, too (but man is it worth it; I can see a huge leap in quality when I have a model in the room to use as a reference).

None. I need some sort of performance enhancement drug equivalent for comic updating. Any ideas?

I do about 5 to 6 times a week. I have a pretty slow paced comic, so if I do it slower I don't think it would keep anybodies attention lol
