do you play the villian? do you like to play the hero? do you just play it netural?

and how far do you go in playing those roles?

I have a friend named luke who is the insprastion for this thread. Anyway, we were talking one day about morrowwind. and he said that he wiped out all the npcs of Balmora (an town) because he wanted thier houses for storage space. and he also causally remarked that he had killed npcs for less.

and I thought that was going to far. but then when I talked to a bunch other people on a different fourm about morrowwind, it seems that other people who play an bad guy, did more than luke did. such as downloading the seperoth mod where ethey could oblivate whole towns and cities with just an fireball spell, which they did.

so that's for the bad guy roles.

I tend to play the netural/good role you know? where I like to help out if I can, and stuff...but I will kill people if they attempt to kill me or piss me off by sending an assissin after me.

I try to be bad sometimes, but I end up feeling guilty and usually end up as a do-gooder...

I would be 60% evil and 40% good. Cause at the begining I would become cold hearted, then probley at the end when somthing goes wrong or somthing like that I would have to help the heroes and such.

well scince moslty all my games are the villian, you can guess i play the villian.... but unlike some ppl i some times stay up all night untill i get past the problem i get in a game... like in RE4, i was stuck in the mine cart ride but i got past it after 2 weeks.... that was my first try... (havn't finished yet in that time) but now i can go through it easly because i have the Chicago Typewritter.... wooo infinate bullets!

One time in Vice City, some guy cut me off in the middle of the street while on a mission. The ped cost me the mission so, first of all, I remembered which ped it was and what car he was driving, I killed all the peds that looked exactly like that one ped, then I went looking for the same car that cut me off and had the same ped driver. After, I killed all the cops that tried to stop me and the paramedics that tried to resurrect the peds. It took me hours...

How do you judge that?

I usually go the do-gooder route. The only villain I ever enjoyed playing as was Venom in Ultimate Spider-man. Mm, superjumps...

Except in GTA, but that's not really evil...just doing whatever the hell you want. :P

I usually take the dark side, their stats/abilities are somewhat usually "cooler" than the goodies.

Though arguably most of my actions are actually good the real loses to the enemy in Eve O and the idea that regularly you can put tears in the eyes of your foes makes me giggle.
