I know it's a bit early (9 months to the day, exactly) but is anyone going or planning on going to the Small Press Expo? (From here on out, SPX08)
I went last year, and unfortunately didn't join Drunkduck until a month after the convention. And so I missed out on meeting some of you.
Last year was a blast though, and I hope it is even better this year!

I'm actually hoping to exhibit there, and I'm interested in sharing table space. Any takers?

Unfortunately, I don't think I'm ready to show-case 'Barely Listening' just yet. I want to wait another year, see if I'm still interested in doing a webcomic, you know? If you do exhibit though, I'll gladly come by and say hello.
I just realized something as well. We can have little Drunk Duck gatherings at conventions such as these (People are suggesting a drunkduck convention) But I think just having everyone meet at an already set up convention is a better idea. (Am I making any sense?)

If a bag of money fell into my lap, I'd happily go to SPX. I went last year and it was pretty cool, but finances are a bit too tight this time around. Hopefully I'll be able to do the vendor thing next year...

Finances are also a bit tight for my husband and I this year, so we picked the Baltimore Comic-Con as my first exhibiting con. I'm looking forward to it.
Good luck at SPX! :)

I'll be at SPX as well as Baltimore Con! SPX has been very kind to Mr. Scootles in the past and hopefully will be as kind to my debuting title Vincent! Hope anyone that's going will stop by and say hello!
My graphic novel Mr. Scootles will be in September Previews 2008! Order a copy!

OK! So it's this weekend! So, one more time, who is going, so I know who to give a high five to?

I'll be there this weekend at booth C13 along with artist Frank Reynoso. Check out "Killing Tree Quarterly," "Deep Throat," and previews for my new book, "Top of the Heap." If you live in the DC area, please say hello and spend money on my crap!
And yes, I DO sign boobs. But not man boobs. Well, probably not.
