I may buy last years. Its the same wrestling game, but forty bucks cheaper. I'd buy it just to make Big Angry Black Guy in a wrestling game again.

Also last years probably has Chris Benoit, something tells me this years probably won't.

yeah 08 wont feature Chris. The only stuff they changed was the rosters. Its funny how they are trying to put it on the DS, the Wii version looks good

I was joking about the fact that, while his post was related to the thread, it really didn't do anything other than inform us that he has access to the game.

... don't say it is the "Most Awesome Game Ever", cause I don't think so.
I decree Boot to the head to all.

I played one of the first ones in the Smackdown vs Raw series, I did not like it. It had this gimmick where you had to do moves on separate parts of the body to do damage. I didn't like that. I liked the crazyness of the old ones on playstation, where you can make super obese guys and hit each other with randomly found tv sets or sit down in a folding chair.

I'd assume you can do all that in the 2007 version?

Specifically, I'd like to recreate the wrestling from my favorite era of it. Dudes like Stone Cold, Undertaker, Kane (in costume, none of this bald guy crap), Mankind, The Rock, Ken Shamrock, and of course a ton of random goofy wrestlers to whomp on.

It looks like 2007 is for the "next-gen" consoles, so I might get it for all my wrestling needs. At a severely reduced price! Just like Tony Hawk, I'm so dodging a bullet buying last years version.

I haven't had fun with a big-name wrestling game since WWF No Mercy on the N64. Fire Pro Wrestling on the GBA was really good too, but nothing can quite compare to No Mercy in my book.
