I actually have a legitimate question. I'm coming as LowResAtari's assitant/partner. Am I allowed to promote my own comic(s) in a lower scale fashion? Or at all? (I was simply thinking of bringing a binder of sketches and such.)
When the fate of the world depends on whether you play with your toys or not, what would you do?

I'm sure that is a yes.
It was mentioned earlier we could share the tables/times with other people. (may not have been said in this thread, but I recall it being said in one of the WW Texas threads.)
I have a new writing assistant that lives in Houston and he will be there. I told him he can use my table at times as well. I probably will let others use it much more than I will... I'm too nice like that =P

Read "The Devon Legacy".

Yes you can. This table space is being provided so that Drunk Duck people can promote their efforts. So as long as you don't give adult material to children, or anger your neighbors whatever you'd like to do is fine.

Alright, thanks for the info. I may not have much to actually show for, but I've got a lot of ideas in the works and getting them a little face time could help me move forward. ^_^

It's cool. These are a learning experience for a lot of people. It's a good mix of convention veterans and new guys who have never been before. Everybody's nice so if you see something cool or have questions don't hesitate to ask someone.

Anyone who's table boarders the DD ones within one table distance from the DD tables >_>
Like everyone who's house is on my block is a neighbor, in the neighbor-hood there of, so likewise anyone who's on the "dd block" is a neighbor. >_>
But then its up for interpretation, y'all can go bother people if you want, I'm just gonna hide under my chair...

Work is trying to screw this up for me so I might not be able to make it. So if not, someone has to at least annoy someone at the con for me.

If we get to TX and there are no beer cookies, we're going to have problems.
Just saying.

You do know that if the beer is mixed into the batter, the alcohol burns off in the baking, right? They'd be "dry."
Anyway, more questions. Will there be access to an electrical outlet? If so, is it a problem if I bring my flat screen TV and Desktop computer. I've got an idea for a dual screen setup to show an animation off while still being able to work on my stuff if need be.
I really need to know of any limitation I may have, besides the obvious content and behavior things. (I'm a good boy, promise. ^_^) I have all these setup ideas that I'll throw together this week if I can!
I'm excited!

Unless the setup for this one is different than the other cons I've been to, outlet access is only for booths, not the artist alley. So figure there won't be an outlet for you to plug anything into.
...and why do you have to bring reality into our beer cookie dreams? Now I'm glad you can't get an outlet.

...um, sorry? I don't drink, so that doesn't really phase me. Due to a lack of time it looks like I'm just bringing a small portfolio anyway.
EDIT: Well, just found out that it was postponed a week. Now I officially can't come. Sorry folks.
