I think it isn't so much that DD doesn't want to be known to exist but that DD is looking to change directions. If it didn't want people to remember its existance, then the forums wouldn't be here, the URL wouldn't work and you'll be staring at a blank screen.

That's just not true. It is true that the erasure of all the programming has got Volte6 - the owner of Drunk Duck - thinking about changing the direction of Drunk Duck. But there wasn't a plot or a plan. It just happened.
