Here we have three guys trying to make it in the world and one of those attempts is this experimental pilot where they're looking for a sponsor to fund the show.
You've probably heard about Yahtzee who runs zero punctuation but the other two, Jug and Matt, are the owners of the site called australiangamer.
Take a gander and give your two cents about it. Do you think it could do well on the tube? Had enough of game criticism or are you aching for more? The pilot is almost half an hour so only watch if you really have the time (and the bandwidth).
going away - The Game Room
Should these guys deserve their own show?

Are you sure that's a one off? I thought I'd seen more of that than just this episode.

Pretty sure this is the only one. It's at least the first episode.
Here's their website: http://www.gamedamage.net/ [gamedamage.net]

A recent blog post [gamedamage.net] suggests that someone believes so. Unless they're re-doing the pilot with some of the advice they've received about the original.
For me, mmmeh. Television shows have a ton of competetion in the gaming media, a ton of bloated, experienced, medium advantaged competition that's already relied on by many people, with good reason.
Also, if they get on Aussie television, it'll be on at one in the morning, sandwiched between mobile phone porn advertisements. Or on Briz 31, at four in the morning, and doing better on Youtube.

Yeah, I suppose that since all three members behind the show are such prominent internet posters, running online reviews and web sites and all, it's fairly safe to assume that this show will probably be a internet run thing.
All signs point towards that the internet will eventually merge with or replace broadcasting media in some fashion after all.

I just watched the starting the bit. It would have been better if those guys didn't burst out laughing everytime Yatzhee opened his mouth. For God's sake, it's like they never even practiced.
