I've been tossing around an idea for this kinda space comic. I was hoping to get some feedback if anyone cared. Specifically on the storytelling and colors. But anything that helps.

This little blue card thing is very important to the story. Like, the entire plot revolves around these cards, so I wanted to make sure to illustrate clearly how they work. Hence the reason I dedicate an entire page to this dude basically pushing a button.

I'm currently reworking page 3, a lot of people seem to have trouble telling what is going on, so I gotta get that fixed. Any advice would be loved though, thanks again.

Also, here is a ref for the alien and how it compares to humans. I wanted them to be more lanky, kinda hunched backed, or arch backed I guess. Like they're shrugging all the time.

Here is my current work in progress of page 3. Let me know if this reads better, the guys in the foreground on the bottom panel are the aliens.

Man, I have to give this start two thumbs up, "Way up!"

I find the action pretty easy to follow, and the blue card thing is not only easy to understand, but and awesome idea. This little sampling has piqued my interest.

Your page 3 progress does make some good adjustments: the rocket no longer looks like It's making a huge sweeping arc through the sky with no reference, and we get to see the human fatalities rather than a huge looking explosion in the wide shot (that kind of looked like it would have consumed the Krek as well as human)

As for art style I love it. A lot. As I said before you can clearly see what's going on, and I feel it draws the reader's eye in all the right directions. The Krek charcter design is good as it makes them obviously alien, but human-like enough that we can relate to them and make out emotion in their faces.

I definitely want to read more of this comic.

Looks fantastic.
Yeah, there's not really much bad you can say about these kind of comics heh.

Looks like an interesting read anyways.
